Get Ready for S’more Fun With the Debut of Camping Night at Cook Out Summer Shootout

CONCORD, NC (July 10, 2024) – Get ready to set up camp at another exhilarating week of Cook Out Summer Shootout as we welcome our first-ever Camping Night, presented by Dilling Heating & Cooling on July 16.

Pitch a tent and grab a front-row seat under the stars as drivers race to earn their badges in a scenic evening of Bandolero and Legend Car racing. But the excitement doesn't stop there - gear up for a series of thrilling camping-themed games designed to challenge your outdoor prowess. From knot-tying competitions to tests of wilderness expertise, ‘Be Prepared” to immerse yourself in the adventurous spirit of Camping Night.

To cap off the night, select Scouts will showcase their survival skills with post-race infield camping. Adding to the excitement, all Scouts in uniform will be granted free admission to join the electrifying festivities of Cook Out Summer Shootout Round 8.

DRIVER TO WATCH:

After seven rounds of Cook Out Summer Shootout action, Bandit racer Wyatt Coffey has been on a true scavenger hunt for gold. With only three more weeks to go, Coffey is the only driver across both Bandolero and Legends Car divisions that has tallied up five wins on the season. Picking up victories here in Charlotte and at Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Thursday Thunder, Coffey is in pursuit of earning his merit badge over the Bandits.

Cook Out Summer Shootout is a 10-race showcase of speed among eight different divisions of Legend Cars and Bandoleros. Races are held each Tuesday night, with drivers accumulating points throughout the summer towards a season-ending championship.
