...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DAVIE AND NORTH
CENTRAL ROWAN COUNTIES THROUGH 1115 PM EDT...
At 1043 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles south of Mocksville, or near Cooleemee, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mocksville, Spencer, Cooleemee, Fork Church, and Woodleaf.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
