Can anyone catch Hendrick Motorsports?

Celebrating their 40th anniversary, Hendrick Motorsports (HMS) is off to fast start this season having won four of the first eight races run (50%). HMS drivers William Byron (three wins) and Kyle Larson (one win) have already visited Victory Lane this season and now head back to Texas Motor Speedway where Larson won in 2021 and Byron won last season.

When it comes to winning in the Next Gen car, nobody has done it better than Byron and Larson. Byron leads the series with 10 victories in the Next Gen, while Larson has eight in the most recent iteration of the car in NASCAR's premier series, which debuted in 2022.

And to boot, Hendrick Motorsports leads the NASCAR Cup Series in wins at Texas Motor Speedway all-time, with 11 victories among five drivers: Terry Labonte (Spring 1999), Jeff Gordon (Spring 2009), Jimmie Johnson (Playoffs 2007, Playoffs 2012, Playoffs 2013, Playoffs 2014, Spring 2015, Playoffs 2015, Spring 2017), Kyle Larson (2021) and William Byron (2023).
