Spring practices, scrimmages and preseason prep is over! Starting tonight it all counts as high school football teams around the county begin their journey on this year's quest to win conference and state championships on the gridiron. South Rowan Raider football is coming off a rough season finishing 1-9 overall last year. However, that's last season and as far as this season goes there is hope! A large returning class with experience and a chip on their shoulder plans to turn things around for the Raider hopefuls this season. I spoke with Head Coach Chris Walsh today about the Raiders foootball prgram and their matchup tonight against Union Academy. Here is what he had to say.
