Carson Head Soccer Coach looking forward to a new year of growth

Carson Head Soccer Coach Lauren West not only coaches the boys' and girls' soccer teams. She literally east, sleeps and breathes soccer. Her passion for her student athletes and the sport itself were definitely easy to see in the interview I had with her this afternoon. Coach West is ready for the new season and what awaits her boys' team as the embark on a 24-game season in hopes of making it to the playoffs for the first time in school history.  She mentions standout players from her boys' team this season as well as from the girls' team who will take the pitch in the spring of 2024. There were also a few shoutouts to players of the past that have left their mark on Carson High School and the soccer teams' history.
