Marginal Risk for severe weather today

A Marginal Risk for severe weather is in place for the foothills and areas west of I-85 here in the county today.

A few storms may become strong to severe this afternoon and early evening. Main potential hazards are locally heavy rainfall leading to isolated flooding (Mainly west of the county), lightning, damaging wind gusts, and large hail.

As of now the main window for rain and potential severe weather to move through the county is between 4 and 8pm this afternoon and evening.
