Charlotte Fc vs Toronto Football Club Match Preview

After an 0-3 start to the season, Charlotte FC have bounced back with a key road win over Orlando and a home draw against the New York Red Bulls. Head Coach Christian Lattanzio’s side will be looking to earn points (win or draw) in back-to-back road games for the first time in Club history and keep the bounce back rolling when the club takes on Toronto this evening at 7:30pm.

Toronto FC have recorded one win, one defeat, and three draws thus far in the 2023 season. Key star forward Lorenzo Insigne will miss Saturday’s match through injury. Last year, Insigne and fellow Italian Federico Bernardeschi made their MLS debuts at home against CLTFC in a 4-0 win. The latter has been carrying the goalscoring burden for TFC recently, having scored (6) or assisted (3) nine of Toronto FC’s last 15 MLS goals.
