Rowan County Weather will be back at the Cheerwine Festival providing real time weather updates to Festival organizers to ensure all attendees at the festival are being given plenty of time to move to indoor safe areas in the event of approaching thunderstorms or other weather hazards during the event. Rowan County missed the 2020 and 2021 events as they were virtual due to the Covid 19 pandemic. In 2022 Rowan County Weather was already booked for the date and covering weather at the Charlotte FC match held the same day.
Plans and preparations are underway for this year's festival. with bands, vendors and other things to do and see during the event being announced along the way. As we get closer to the event Rowan County Weather will provide weather forecast for the day of the event and updates on any special announcements concerning this year's 2023 Cheerwine Festival taking place in Salisbury on Saturday, May 23rd from noon to 10pm in downtown Salisbury.
