First look at Saturday rain chances.

Rain chances have been building in the forecast for Saturday. As we are now around 36 hours away from this event starting in the county I wanted to give you a very brief update. We will see spotty isolated showers throughout the day tomorrow before more widespread rain moves in for the late afternoon and evening hours,

More widespread rain will move into the county between 5 & 6pm and bring thunderstorm chances along with them as we move into the evening hours around 8pm. Not looking for much in terms of accumulation by midnight Saturday going into Sunday. Most of the accumulation will occur during the early morning and day on Sunday. The image below shows potential accumulation by end of day Saturday.
