Rowan County Weather and Access16 announce a new partnership

Last week on social media I posted a picture showing a Rowan County Weather forecast on a television screen. I made the statement "Rowan County Weather coming to a TV near you. details to come" Today I am proud to announce that a new partnership has started between Rowan County Weather and Access16. My main goal when I started Rowan County Weather was to be able to provide the weather forecast to every Rowan County resident and this is another huge step in being able to do just that! 

With the help of Station Manager Jason Parks this partnership is now possible! I look forward to the great opportunities and additional reach this partnership provides. I know there are many residents who do not utilize the internet or social media. This is another avenue for them to get the local weather forecast. Thank you to Access16 for this wonderful opportunity! 

For those of you who may not be familiar with Access16 it is the local Government Access Television Channel for Rowan County and the City of Salisbury! Available on Fibrant and Spectrum providers. It is a great source for local information for events around the county and a great way to be able to watch City Council Meetings for the city of Salisbury.
