advertise your local business here »We have made it to the end of another work week. This weekend is going to be the kind of weekend that messes up your outdoor plans. Let's focus on today. We will see a high of around 70º today. This will be our ;last 70º for the next several days.

We will see clouds on the increase as we move through the day and into the afternoon. Isolated showers will start making their way in from the southwest around the 3pm hour.

Winds will be gusty throughout the day as a cold front begins to approach the county. We could see gust of around 25 miles per our as we move through the day and evening.

Not much in the way of accumulation with rainfall today. Most of the rainfall accumulation will be on Saturday. We are looking for less than a tenth of an inch by midnight tonight.

We will drop back down to a low of around 53º this evening. So if you have outdoor plans to day. Get them done this morning and early afternoon. Rain will become a factor later this afternoon and evening.

I will of course keep you updated right here and on social media throughout the day and evening. As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
