Rains moves in late. Clouds increase throughout the day.

Monday, January 22, 2018 - 11:04am

As we continue to move through this Monday we will see clouds continue to increase throughout the day. Rain chances start to creep up very late this evening but most of the rain comes though during the overnight. If you are looking for a fair amount of rain it is likely we only see a small amount. Let's take a look at how the weather will unfold over the next 18 - 24 hours.

Today we will see a high of around 63º

We will see a low tonight of around 52º

Rain chances will start to creep up after we move into the evening hours. I don't think we will see widespread rain until around 1am as we move through the overnight hours. Most of the rain will happen while we are sleeping. We could see some lingering showers as we head into the morning commute tomorrow.

As far as accumulations go. We could see anywhere from a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rainfall before all is said and done.

I will keep you updated right here and on social media as we move through the day evening and overnight hours. As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
