Another Hot Day On Tap. Slight Chance For Rain

Good Saturday Morning everyone! We have yet another hot day on tap today. The heat index will reach over 100º today in the county. Again please stay hydrated and limit outdoor activity. 

The high will be around 96º today as well. So again I can't say this enough. Limit outdoor activities and stay hydrated. 

The air quality is slight better today as we will be in a code yellow air quality today. Code Yellow means Air quality is acceptable; however, for some pollutants there may be a moderate health concern for a very small number of people who are unusually sensitive to air pollution.

There is a slight chance we could get some rain to move through the county in the early evening that could bring us some relief form the heat. I am not expecting much out of the weak disturbance that will come through as the activity seems to get chewed up coming through the mountains but we will certainly keep an eye on the radar later this afternoon and evening.
