With Heat Coming. Check the backseat!

We have some of our hottest temperatures of the year heading our way this week. I always get concerned when the heat starts to amp up. The reason for my concern is the fact that someone, somewhere will leave their child, pet, or elderly loved one sitting in a car with the windows up and the A/C off. Now it's not something that people do on purpose. The problem is everyone is in so much of a hurry with their daily lives they don't think to check the backseat when they get out of their car. Take a look below at how quickly the inside of your vehicle can reach deadly temperatures in a short period of time after you get out and close it up.

If you have a concern you may forget your child or pet in the back seat. Then when you put them in the car. Leave something you know you will remember back there with them. Your purse, cell phone, wallet. You can also get a Back Seat Reminder system installed. for details click here

Please remember to stay hydrated if you are working outside. Please check on relatives and loved ones who don't have air conditioning in their homes. And I can not emphasize this enough. Check the back seat for your children and pets.
