More rain is likely today

Wow! What a night! Thunderstorms moved through the county and the area brining some lightning, thunder and gusty winds with them. There were lots of damage reports to our west. From what I have observed so far this morning. There have been no reports here in Rowan County. 

Well, that was last night. Let's take a look ahead to today. We could see more rain move in by around mid morning this morning. I am not expecting anything like what we had during the overnight hours so all you will need is an umbrella to stay dry if a shower does pass over where you are today.

I am not expecting much in the way of accumulation. Maybe a tenth to a quarter of an inch depending on where you are.
