Thunderstorm Chances Return Late Thursday

As we move through the daytime hours on Thursday we will go through a few changes. The cooler temperatures will move in along with increasing clouds. Those clouds will eventually bring scattered showers and possibly thunderstorms later Thursday evening. We could see some scattered showers move through the county as early as Thursday morning but they will be nothing more than an appetizer for the rain that moves in later in the day.

The showers will likely intensify as we continue into the evening hours and bring some rumbles of Thunder with them. I am not to concerned at this point with anything severe as the ingredients needed to hype these storms up will likely not be there. 

I will continue to provide updates right here and on social media as we get closer to these showers and storms moving through the county. At this point the Storm Predictions Center feels the severe weather will remain to our west tomorrow and into the evening hours of tomorrow night.
