Wednesday Weather Update

Wednesday, February 15, 2017 - 10:02am

We have had a rainy start to this Wednesday. The rain is starting to push off to the eats and things will start to dry out here in the county by around 11am.

The cloud cover will slowly start to push off to the east and we will see sunshine begin to work its way into the area. I expect full sunshine by around 3pm this afternoon.

The high will be around 52º I think it will take a while to get there with the rainfall we had this morning and the cloud cover hanging around for a bit.

The winds will start to pick up later this afternoon and evening with gust of around 20 miles per hour.

The low tonight will bottom out at around 29º with the clear sky above later tonight the heat will escape quickly once the sun has set.

Rainfall totals in the area will vary with accumulations of around a quarter to a half of an inch possible.

Enjoy the remainder of your Wednesday everyone! As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
