Rowan county Weather Road Report 2/6/17

Here is this weeks report on road closures and construction around the county per the NCDOT. Please note if you don't see anything listed. I am not aware of the updates. If I find anything out I will add to this post.

February 6th – February 9th

85 South Exit 70 – 63 closed for night time construction Detour 29 south

Through May 31st, 2017

Landis

South Central Ave. will be closed to Southbound traffic from Mill St to Hillside St.

Through August 9th, 2017

China Grove

The Daugherty Road bridge over I-85 is being replaced as part of the I-85 widening project

February 13th through September 1st, 2017

China Grove

Lentz Road between U S 29 and Arant Road will be closed for 200 days starting on February 13th 2017. This closure is required to replace the bridge over I 85.

Through May 31st, 2017

Replace the existing the Henderson Grove Church Road Bridge and Begin work on January 25, 2017@ 9:00 am  and complete by end of May 2017. Click Here to Links

Detour  Go south Henderson Grove Church Road Bridge to West Peach Orchard Road, Left into Hader Street, Right on Peeler Road than loop down to US 29 North (Main St.) than Right on Henderson Grove Church Road. Go North Henderson Grove Church Road to South US 29(Main St.), Turn Right on Long Meadow Drive, Turn Right Peeler Road, Turn Left Hader Street and Right Peach Orchard Road than Left to Henderson Grove Church Road.

Through December 31st, 2017

Rockwell

 The causeway of St. Matthews Church Road across High Rock Lake is closed to two way traffic and commercial vehicles.

Detour St. Matthews Church Road to Ribelin Road to Stokes Ferry Road to St. Matthews Church Road
