Sunday Weather Update

We started out the day with a weak little disturbance that brought on a very fast moving passing of sleet this morning across the county. If you were sleeping you missed it. This did cause some slick spots on the roadways especially in the Kannapolis area this morning. Now the disturbance has moved on. The clouds are breaking and the sun will be in full effect today. The high today will top out t around 57º

The winds today will be breezy with some decent gust of around 24 miles per hour at times.

Things get cold once again tonight with the low bottoming out at around 33º
