Monday Weather Update

Monday, January 23, 2017 - 9:02am

What a wet weekend we just went through. Rainfall accumulations at the weather center of over 2.5 inches just for Friday - Sunday. The rain is starting to push out but we are not quite clear yet. I am tracking a few more isolated showers that I think will pass over the county later today. We will begin to see clearing and start to dry out tomorrow. The high today will top out at around 56º

The winds will be gusty at times today with gust of around 18 miles per hour

Looking for a few more isolated showers to move through even though most of the rain has pushed out of the area. I think we could see some isolated showers later this afternoon and evening but nothing severe to be concerned with.

Only looking for accumulations of an addition tenth of an inch to maybe a quarter of an inch in some areas.

The low tonight will bottom out at around 42º

Enjoy your Monday everyone! Just remember the sun will come out tomorrow! As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
