Wednesday Weather Update

We certainly enjoyed some rain yesterday and more is on the way today. Plenty to talk about in today's update so lets get to it!

The high today will top out around 71º

The winds will be a big story today as they will be gusty at times especially this afternoon as showers move through the area. Looking at gust of around 25 miles per hour

We will see more rain today with some moderate to heavy downpours at times. I think the biggest part of the event starts to move into the county around 4pm this afternoon and will be around for sure during the evening commute. So please take it slow out there on the way home and have the rain gear handy.

So far form the rain we have received since early yesterday morning art the weather center we have just under six tenths of an inch. I am looking for a half to three quarters of an inch more as a possibility around the county form todays showers.

Things cool off a bit tonight after the showers and storms move through and we will see a low of around 45º
