Thursday Weather Update

Thursday, November 3, 2016 - 9:17am

As we close in on the last day of our current autumn heat wave we can look ahead to cooler temperatures starting tonight as the cold font moves through. There is also a chance for some rain with the front however, we will not get enough to provide any real relief. Accumulations will be almost nonexistent. The high today will top out around 81º

The good news is the dew points in the mid 50's will keep the air feeling comfortable outside.

There is a chance for rain but I would consider yourself pretty lucky even if you see a drop of rain. these are going to be very light very scattered showers at this point. Accumulations will be almost nonexistent.

The low tonight will bottom out around 54º as the cold front makes its way through and more seasonal air returns to the county.

Let's get through today and things will start to feel much better around the county. As always thank you for following Rowan County Weather!
