Wednesday Weather Update

What an overcast day we are having. There is a potential for some rain and thunderstorms to move into the county during the afternoon hours. Right now I think the best chance is between the hours of 1 and 5 pm. These are going to be very isolated showers and storms so I wouldn't cancel outdoor plans just yet. The important thing is to be weather aware. There is a potential for small hail with any storm that passes over today as well.

Remember that these showers and storms will be very scattered and isolated so it could be raining at your house while 5 minutes down the road it will be sunny and dry.

The best thing to do is just keep your eyes to the sky but again these storms and showers are going to be very isolated. It is possible you could make it through the day without a drop of rain.

As you can see from the model above it is not likely we will accumulate much rainfall at all today for most of the county.

The highs will be in the low to mid 80's.

Remember as I have posted for the past few days. Do not leave children and pets in the car unattended with no air conditioning. It only take a few minutes for the temperatures inside of your vehicle to exceed 100º
