advertise your local business here »We have already started to get a few isolated showers around the county this morning. That trend will continue off and on throughout the day. I would not expect a total washout by any means but certainly keep the rain gear handy. As I focus on the models I do have a timeframe where I think storms would be likely.

I feel based on model images like the one above we will start to see the development of some storms in and around the county for the evening commute. You could expect some heavy downpours and possible some small hail in this storms if they develop.

My main area of concern early in the evening tonight will be around the Cleveland area as that is where most of the storms will want to fire up based on the models. As we move through the evening though I do think the remainder of the county will run the risk for a few thunderstorms as well.

Again my biggest concern with these storms will be heavy downpours and the possibility of small hail.

If you have any outdoor activities planned for this evening I would certainly check my updates here on the website and of course on social media throughout the day.

I think the winds will be around 15 - 20 mph with some occasional gust above that but again the threats I am looking at are some heavy downpours and small hail.

As far as overall accumulation around the county this is what I am going with.

The model above I feel is just a little overstated calling for anywhere from a quarter of an inch to an inch of rain around the county. I would certainly love to see us get that much rain because it would definitely help give us some relief from the pollen. However, I feel like a quarter of an inch is more likely to be the total in most areas around the county.
I will continue to post updates right here on the website as well as on social media throughout the day.
