Rain chances picking up for later today

Since my last update this morning the models have made some adjustments with the heating of the day. Based on current data we could see some showers and storms develop during the early evening hours. Here is my latest thinking,

As we head into the early evening hours tonight showers and storms will begin to make their way out of the mountains and foothills and move toward the county.

Showers and storms should take a northeast track as they continue to move into the county as we approach sunset tonight.

Spotty showers will move through the county as we move into the night time hours tonight. Again the important news is these will be very scattered for the county as for now most of the activity will look to stay confined to the mountains and foothills. Rainfall accumulation continues to stay around a tenth of an inch in my forecast.
