Thursday Morning Weather Update

Good Morning!

I wanted to take a moment to update you on what to expect weather wise the rest of the day.

Let's start first of all with the high temperature. I forecasted 75 degrees this morning for the high. However, since that time I am seeing some indication in the models we could get just a little warmer. So I am bumping that up to 77 degrees.

The model above is the High Resolution Rapid Refresh Model or otherwise known as the (HRRR) As you can see based on current conditions and what is yet to arrive today 77 is a good possibility for today's high.

I think based on the model image above we will see the sun hang around most of the day. Around 6pm tonight the clouds will begin to thicken as the rain chances start to slowly creep up. The good news is this may set us up for a fantastic sunset!

If you are planning outdoor activities today the good news is as you can see from the image above the rain looks to arrive late tonight around 10pm. The only real thing to deal with today will be gusty winds as pictured below. Gust could be as much as 25 mph.
