This March is currently the 23rd warmest on record for the county. Just 6.5 degrees below the all time warmest RoCo March on record of 61.1 set back in 1945

The crazy part is even with the rainfall we have had around the county officially out at the airport we are having our driest March ever.

As far as what we have left to encounter for March long range models are predicting temperatures around average for the remainder of the month. We just have the upcoming weekend cool down to deal with before warming back up again.

The long range models also are predicting another 1-2 inches of rainfall for the month so that will certainly give us needed rainfall to avoid this being the driest March on record for the RoCo.

Now how are we stacking up for the year???
To this point and its still really early so don't take these statistics to much to heart. This is currently the coldest year on record for the RoCo. (That will change)

This is currently the 5th driest year on record for the RoCo to this point. Again way early so don't take this as a serious concern. more informational.

It is going to be interesting to see what the months ahead hold for us. Coming up in a few days I will post a blog on how my long range winter forecast to see how I did with my prediction for this winter. I released that forecast on Halloween of last year. I will also be releasing a look at the upcoming Spring season with a blog as well.
