Welcome to the new and improved Rowan County Weather website

I am so honored to be able to write this first blog on the new and improved rowancountyweather.com website! This new and improved website will allow more options for those citizens who do not use social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter. This site will enable the ability for visitors to get up to the minute radar images for the county. The current conditions page allows you to view current images and conditions at the weather center. The forecast page is updated daily with 5 day forecast for the county. The announcements and events page will be updated with any events or announcements to include any closings or cancelations due to severe weather occurring around the county. Of course the blog page will be updated periodically with useful information concerning weather events and various informational pieces to help you better prepare for severe weather when it threatens Rowan County.
