Rain today with a chance of wet snow

January 29, 2019

We have been talking for the past few days about the chance of wet snow mixing in this evening with rain ahead of a cold front that will move through the region today. Here is the timeline on when you should see region move through the county.

Heavy Rain Moves in Overnight

January 23, 2019

We started out this morning with a little bit of freezing drizzle around the county but luckily avoided any serious ice issues. The skies have been overcast throughout the day as a warm front closes in on the county. The warm front will bring rain ahead of it.

Freezing Drizzle possible early Wednesday.

January 22, 2019

Good Tuesday Morning everyone! We have been dealing with some of the coldest temperatures of the season over the past 48-72 hours. Now we have moisture on the way. The good news is dry air and limited moisture will allow us to avoid a real messy situation.

A wet week ahead

January 20, 2019

It may be sunny outside right now but once again this week we will deal with a few days of wet weather. We will see rain move in late Tuesday and hang around in the forecast for the majority of this week.

Rain on tap today

January 19, 2019

Good Saturday Morning! We are in for a rainy Saturday today the good news is even though chances are high it will not be a washout. We will see isolated showers move through the county this morning and throughout the day.

A rainy Saturday

January 18, 2019

The forecast has a 90% chance of rain. In a previous blog post this week I mentioned that even though the rain chances were high that doesn't mean a washout. We will start our Saturday with some isolated showers.

As we start next week the coldest air of the season will move into the county

January 17, 2019

It's not surprise we have rain moving in this weekend. That seems to be a regular occurrence for us lately. However, the bigger story for the weekend will be the cold arctic air that moves into the county on the back side of that rain.

100% Chance of rain on Saturday. But does that mean it's a washout?

January 17, 2019

This Saturday I have a 100% chance of rain in my forecast. Does that mean that Saturday will be a washout? Not exactly, We will see light isolated rain showers moving through the county early Saturday morning.
