100% Chance of rain on Saturday. But does that mean it's a washout?

Thursday, January 17, 2019 - 10:06am

This Saturday I have a 100% chance of rain in my forecast. Does that mean that Saturday will be a washout? Not exactly, We will see light isolated rain showers moving through the county early Saturday morning. If you did have some out door plans early Saturday it will be hit or miss in getting those activities in.

The shower activity will remain light and isolated as we move through most of the day on Saturday, As we get into the late evening hours shower activity will become more moderate and widespread. So if your plans are late Saturday you may want to have an indoor plan B just in case.

By early Sunday morning the rain will begin to move off to our east and we will begin to dry out once more. That will set that stage for some of our coldest weather of the season moving in late Sunday. More on that in another post.

We could see as much as an inch of rainfall from the system moving in this weekend. I will of course keep you update right here and on social media as we move through the weekend and the system passes through the county.
